TOPIC: WHAT IS CULTURAL EXCHANGE?
This is a presentation about cultural exchange and its benefits. I prepared this for my students in the 6th grade of CEIP Jose Calvo Sotelo but it can be adapted for use in the higher levels. The flow of the class activity: First, I tell them what cultural exchange in a nutshell is, then proceed to share its meaning followed by examples of a social issue known as cultural appropriation. Then, I share what the benefits of doing a cultural exchange is. As for explaining the importance, I show a Youtube video titled: “Why cultural exchanges matter.” I end the presentation with words of encouragement.
